Because sometimes you just need to change it.
Hey Reader,
✨ Welcome to The Production Oracle! ✨
Surprise! The Saturday newsletter has a brand-new look and feel. 🎬
If you’ve been here a while, you know I evolve things when the timing is right. The Merry Mag was a fun chapter—one that helped me launch my YouTube channel, streamline the weekly Tarot readings, and build my paid newsletter community. But as any content creator (especially one who started blogging back in 2010 👋) knows, you just feel when something has run its course.
For the past four months, I knew it was time for a shift. Then, I started hearing from some of you about information fatigue. As a librarian, I get it—the world is exhausting right now. It’s not just about my newsletter; it’s about the sheer volume of content coming at you every single day. Plus, the world feels like our systems are crumbling around us, which adds to the overwhelm and the next thing you know, you're checked out. As a business owner who specializes in content production, I know what that means: it’s time to evolve.
Enter The Production Oracle. 🌀
This series marks my post-coaching era and a return to my true focus: media production, content creation, and educating you on the ever-changing creator economy. My goal? To model consistency—to show you, week after week, what it looks like to show up, stay visible, and grow.
Even on the weeks when you don’t open my emails, I’ll still be here—because that’s what consistent content does. It builds, it compounds, and over time? It changes everything.
Let’s make some magic. ✨
This Week’s Edition of “I Should Be Working But…”
💗 Do Some Good for Your Library:
As a Board of Trustees member for Fort Vancouver Regional Library, I want you to know that this August, voters will decide on a levy lid lift—the first funding update in 14 years. If you’re a county resident and want to join a pro or con committee for the ballot, sign up here.
📚 You Don’t Need Another Business Book (But You Might Need This):
Lately, I’ve been on a STEM romance kick, and The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood did not disappoint. If you love brilliant, neurodivergent women in science getting the love story they deserve, this one’s for you. Spicy rating: 🌶️ (yeah, only one chili pepper).
📺 Activate Your Couch Potato Points:
The new Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a visual feast, but before you start comparing it to Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula—please, for the love of all things undead, know your vampire history. Otherwise, you fully deserve to have your arteries drained for openly expressed ignorance. 🧛♂️ Stream Nosferatu now on Peacock.

This week's reading...
Being nice avoids conflict—being kind creates clarity. If you’re stuck in niceness addiction, it’s time to rethink how you show up. Let’s meditate on boundaries, real generosity, and leading with intention.
