✨ The Production Oracle ✨

They have to know you exist.

Sensible Woo is the mind. Sasquatch Media Grounds is the muscle.

Hey Reader,

This week is a shout-out to getting yourself heard. And yes, I’m coming in hot because one of the most common private complaints I hear from entrepreneurs right now is some version of, “No one’s listening anymore,” or “People don’t even like my posts,” or my personal favorite, “What’s the point?”

Respectfully… that’s bullshit. And I say that with love.

First reality check: the era of vanity metrics is dead. Likes are cute. Comments are fun. Neither of them pay your bills. We are firmly in the age of conversion metrics, which means the only thing that actually matters is whether someone takes an action. Hiring you. Buying from you. Joining your world. Conversions do not require applause. They require trust.

Which brings us to the real question you should be asking: how do people get to the point where they convert?

They have to know you exist.

And that means marketing. Actual marketing. Not vibes or posting into the void and hoping the algorithm has a crush on you this week.

Where things get interesting is the ways in which data is screaming the same message over and over again: long-form content with searchability and a long performance tail is quietly winning. I would argue this has always been the case but we've been living in a loud social media heavy world for over a decade. We're talking about podcasts, YouTube, email newsletters, and blogs. Yes, blogs! Put some respect on their name… they’re back, baybee. 😍

Feeding the social media machine nonstop is stale as fuck. It’s time-consuming, the ROI is trash unless you’re running paid traffic, and most creators do not have the spare cash or team to turn virality into a business model. Owned platforms, on the other hand? They compound. They work while you sleep. They keep introducing you to new people long after you hit publish.

Enter: you + your podcast.
Or you + your YouTube channel.
Or you + your newsletter.
Or you + your blog.

Pick your weapon. Just stop pretending silence on Instagram means irrelevance.

The part no one wants to admit out loud, but I'll say it out loud: your voice matters more right now than it has in years. In a world that feels like a dumpster fire flirting with WWIII, narratives are being rewritten in real time. Check out what happens when women’s voices + grounded leadership + healthy masculinity produce through consistent content. Courage that doesn’t scream but still moves the needle. It’s happening in quieter corners, and it’s working.

Courage doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like consistency, like publishing when no one is clapping yet, like building infrastructure instead of chasing attention. And sometimes it looks like positioning yourself to be heard… so you become one of many collective voices that actually change things.

So stop outsourcing your power. Stop blaming platforms for things you actually control. And get ready to move. February is not a “wait and see” month for the creators I’m working with right now. January hit like a rocket booster, and the momentum is already rolling.

If that lights something up in you, you’re probably ready for the dojo.

The founder round for the Creator Economy Dojo is open. This is the year you monetize your content intentionally, starting by covering your production costs so bigger visibility doesn’t drain you dry. When you join, you’re automatically invited to the February creator intensive, where we’ll be prepping podcasts for ad swaps and paid placements.

You like getting paid? 🤑 Same.
We should absolutely hang out.

And that’s exactly what the dojo is for.

Gossip From the Creator Trenches...

📲 TikTok is the first domino.

I’m planting a flag on this one: we are actively entering the post–social media–first era. TikTok is showing us the cracks early, with creators reporting content disappearing without warning at a rate that’s hard to ignore and harder to trust. Security concerns aside, this is your reminder that rented platforms will always pull the rug eventually. Your email list remains the most powerful asset you can build. Podcasts and YouTube follow close behind thanks to searchability and long-tail performance. And yes… long-form blogging is quietly staging a comeback, especially as AI-driven search starts favoring depth over noise. Prepare accordingly.
🔗 Stay current + choose wisely

📣 YouTube plants a flag in the sand.

As both a producer and a creator, I’m painfully aware of the algorithm dance and the grief we all still carry for the golden age of organic reach. It really was glorious. But in today’s three-legged race between creators, platforms, and AI, YouTube keeps doing something notable: stating its standards out loud and protecting creators without pretending AI isn’t here to stay. Instead of rage-posting about the machines, maybe it’s time to choose better arenas. I’ve been betting on YouTube for a long time, and heading into 2026, I’m even more convinced it belongs in your strategy.

📺 You cannot avoid world events.

Let me say this clearly, again: if you think your business is exempt from politics and global events, that’s not neutrality. That’s avoidance. Business is people, and humanity is under real pressure right now. If you’re not tracking larger conversations like the World Economic Forum in Davos, consider this your shortcut. YouTube gives you a front-row seat for free. I’m pointing you to Canadian PM Mark Carney’s address because it’s gaining traction for a reason. Listen closely and ask yourself whether your business signals still match the world as it is… not the one you wish we were in.

🎧 Let's Get Awkward Together

One of the most fun things in the studio is that I have a dedicated space to produce shows in house for all kinds of projects that have to do with my own thought leadership. The first one to go out the door is a show with my Yes Friend, the amazing Megan Eckman. Our new show is called The Awkward Handshake and it's all about networking. And on Monday, January 26th it's premiere week! We're talking all about our networking adventures and how to get more out of your own connections. Check out the trailer here and click the follow button in your favorite podcast player so you get the first episode when it drops.

🔥 Sharing Your Values Without Setting Yourself on Fire

I ran a quick IG poll on the flight home from my speaking gig and asked how people plan to get civically involved this year. The top answer? “I need someone to show me how.” Fair. Honest. Also… actionable.

One of my favorite activist creators just dropped a sharp, practical video on how to share information in ways that actually move people instead of just yelling into the void. Her core point lands hard: most people live inside bubbles. Sometimes it’s them. Sometimes it’s you. Sometimes it’s the folks quietly opting out while the world burns.

Let’s name the privilege part out loud. Being able to “check out” is a luxury. Pretending nothing is happening is a choice. And the fire alarm has been blaring long enough that pretending you didn’t hear it is no longer cute.

Here’s the power move: when you share information thoughtfully, you don’t just post… you change people’s feeds. That reshapes what they see, what they question, and what they can no longer ignore. It also reveals, very quickly, who’s complicit in their silence. That clarity alone can save you from bad partnerships, shady brands, and misaligned business decisions.

Ask me how I know. Making space by cutting ties has been one of the best strategic decisions I’ve made.

This isn’t about being loud. It’s about being intentional. And yes. It’s powerful as hell.

🔮 When the Fog Lifts, What’s Left Standing?

This week’s Woo Crew reading isn’t here to hype you up or soothe you with pretty language. It’s here to help you tell the difference between vision and follow-through… and to notice what becomes visible when the vibes stop doing all the talking.

If the world feels louder, sharper, and less forgiving lately, you’re not imagining it. There’s a reason clarity is starting to feel unavoidable, and why so many businesses built on aesthetics and good intentions are suddenly wobbling. Inside Woo Crew, we don’t rush that moment or dramatize it… we use it.

This is the kind of weekly guidance that helps you refine your instincts, strengthen your leadership, and build something that can actually hold weight when conditions change. Less performance. More substance. Fewer declarations. Better decisions.

If you want astrology and Tarot that support real-world business momentum instead of spiritual bypassing, Woo Crew is $7/month… and quietly one of the most stabilizing places you can plug in right now.
