- Shondaland Audio shut down entirely, leaving its shows adrift.
- Video-first content is taking over, with YouTube now the #1 place people go to find podcasts.
- And surprise twist: Amazon just dropped cash into AI-powered user-generated content, meaning your feed’s about to be flooded with auto-baked, algorithmically soulless shows.
⚠️ That’s the sign.
Your first gut reaction might be, "Oh shit it's all imploding."

This is the sign that content is no longer ruled by the big corporate entities and big budgets. It's time for the creator economy to have its moment which means that if you’re still winging it with your content… you’re about to get buried.

Spoiler: You want the latter, not the former.

Meta just rolled out live location sharing on their platforms and yes, it’s as problematic as it sounds. From ICE raids to stalker safety, the risks are real. I still use Instagram for discovery in my marketing, but I’ve locked down my settings to keep my location private. Please, for the love of your personal safety, do the same.

I love this page from Matt Haig... you have to ask yourself if your patterns of consumption are reactions to your fight/flight response system. When you think about your business, do you choose joy when you hit "buy now"? When you book studio 🎙️ time, is it from joy?
